A wide range of bet types for every style – from straightforward picks to strategic wagers
Pick the player or pair you think will win. The simplest and most popular bet type among Malaysian badminton fans — especially when cheering on local heroes in international competition.
Odds from 1.45When one player is significantly stronger, a handicap gives the weaker side a set head start. This balances out the odds and makes betting more interesting – ideal for matchups where there's a clear gap in ability between the two players.
Higher oddsPlace bets while the match is in progress. Odds update in real time based on the live score. It's the most thrilling way to follow a match — every point scored can shift the entire betting landscape.
Real-time updatesPredict whether the total points in a set or match will go over or under a set line. Example: Over/Under 40.5 points in Set 1. No need to pick a winner — just the total points.
Different strategiesPredict the exact set scoreline – either 2-0 or 2-1. Odds are higher than a standard moneyline bet given the added precision required. Best suited for players who are confident in their match analysis.
Higher oddsCombine multiple selections into a single bet slip. Every pick must be correct to win, but the potential payout is significantly higher. A great option when you're confident about the outcome of several matches.

Badminton is more than a sport – it's part of Malaysia's identity. From one stadium to the next, from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru, badminton is the game that unites every walk of life. And when Malaysia sends players onto the international stage, the whole nation rallies behind them. At mygame2u, we understand that passion. That's why we've built the most complete and easy-to-use badminton betting platform for Malaysian fans – so your support can be more meaningful, and potentially more rewarding.
Compared to other sports like football, badminton has several qualities that make it a compelling betting option. First, matches are often more predictable — world rankings and head-to-head stats are widely available and easy to reference. Second, matches run for a reasonable duration, typically between 45 and 90 minutes, making them well-suited for in-play betting without a long wait. Third, Malaysia has a strong badminton tradition, which means most local fans already have a solid grounding in the players and their playing styles — a real edge when placing bets at mygame2u.
Mygame2u uses decimal odds, which are straightforward to read. For example, if the odds for Lee Zii Jia to win are 1.95 and you stake RM 100, your net profit is RM 95 (a total return of RM 195 minus your original RM 100 stake). Lower odds indicate a heavy favourite, while higher odds mean the player is considered an underdog. In a closely matched contest, both sides will have odds closer to 2.00. Understanding how to read decimal odds is the foundation you need before getting serious about badminton betting at mygame2u.
Savvy badminton bettors don't rely purely on gut feeling or emotional support for the Malaysian team. While that passion matters, there are a few factors worth considering. Check head-to-head records – certain pairings consistently win or lose against specific opponents regardless of their rankings. Watch out for fatigue too – in the BWF World Tour, players sometimes compete almost daily during the early rounds, and tiredness can take a real toll on performance. For in-play betting on mygame2u, track momentum – a player on a consecutive-point run is usually in a strong flow, and the odds on them may still carry value.
No badminton tournament gets Malaysian players more fired up than the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup. Malaysia is one of the all-time powerhouses in Thomas Cup history, boasting an impressive winning record, and every new edition brings a fresh chance to reclaim past glory. When Malaysia steps onto the court at the Thomas Cup or Uber Cup, mygame2u delivers the most comprehensive betting coverage available — from match-by-match result bets to outright winner markets. Special odds supporting Malaysia are also frequently offered throughout the tournament, so always check the mygame2u promotions section for the latest deals.
One bet type growing in popularity among badminton fans on mygame2u is the parlay, or accumulator. With a parlay, you combine multiple selections onto a single ticket. Every pick must be correct to win, but the multiplied odds mean significantly bigger payouts. For example, if you choose three matches with individual odds of 1.90, 2.10, and 1.75, your three-leg parlay carries a combined odds of around 6.97 – meaning a RM 50 stake could return nearly RM 350 if all three selections come through. mygame2u badminton parlays are a great way to make watching multiple matches at once far more exciting.
Every year, Malaysia Open ranks among the most heavily bet tournaments on mygame2u. The world's best players converge on Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur, and local fans always carry high hopes of seeing Malaysian players reach the final — or go even further. mygame2u offers full betting coverage for Malaysia Open, from the qualifying rounds all the way to the final, with rapid odds updates and in-play betting features that let you place bets while the action unfolds on court.
As with all forms of Sports Betting, sound bankroll management is the foundation of long-term success in badminton betting. mygame2u recommends setting a monthly betting budget that you can comfortably afford to lose. As a general rule, avoid staking more than 3% to 5% of your monthly budget on any single match. This way, even a run of consecutive losses won't wipe out your capital, and you'll still have enough to keep betting on upcoming matches. Your mygame2u account includes a deposit limit feature that lets you set automatic spending controls on your betting activity.
If you're new to mygame2u, you can take advantage of a welcome bonus of up to RM 1,000 that applies across all bet types, including badminton. Your first deposit is matched 100% – deposit RM 200 and get an extra RM 200 to bet with. This bonus gives you additional capital to explore the full range of badminton bet types on mygame2u without putting your original deposit at major risk. For existing players, weekly cashback and reload bonus promotions ensure there's always an extra incentive every time you bet on your favourite badminton matches.
